Tanzania: Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara - Tarangire
Day 1
In the morning, drive with a regular shuttle bus to Arusha in Tanzania, via the Namanga border post. After lunch, drive in a 4x4 vehicle drive to Ngorongoro crater, arriving late afternoon.
All meals - overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar
Day 2
Descend 600 m to the floor of the crater. Spend the morning animal viewing, with good chances to see the “Big Five”. Return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch depart for Lake Manyara.
All meals - overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or similar
Day 3
Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park. In this 2,600 sq km area live elephant, eland, oryx, lesser kudu and many other species of wild animals. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon safari drive near the Tarangire River.
All meals - overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Day 4
This morning return to Arusha. Visit a cultural centre. Lunch. At 14.00hrs, with a regular shuttle bus return to Nairobi, arriving early evening.
