Day 1
At 08.30 transfer to the Kenya/Tanzania border town of Namanga. After border formalities drive to Arusha. Lunch and continue to Lake Manyara.
All meals - overnight at Manyara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 2
After an early breakfast, visit Lake Manyara National Park. Continue to the Serengeti. This 14,700 sq km National Park has been made famous in the book Serengeti shall not die. Lunch and animal spotting en-route.
All meals - overnight at Serengeti Serena, Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 3
The morning and afternoon are spent animal viewing in the Serengeti. With its limitless plains, scattered with rocks, acacia bushes, forest and occasional small rivers, the Serengeti is a paradise for wild animals and birds of all kinds.

Day 4
In the morning a short safari drive. After breakfast leave for the Ngorongoro Crater. Stopover and visit the world-famous Olduvai Gorge. Picnic lunch.
All meals - overnight at Ngorongoro Serena, Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 5
Descend 600 m (1970 ft) to the floor of the crater. Spend the day animal viewing. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon return to the lodge.

Day 6
This morning return to Arusha. Lunch. At 14.00h depart with the regular bus, returning to Nairobi.
