Tanzania: Manyara - Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Day 1
In the morning, drive with a regular shuttle bus to Arusha in Tanzania, via the Namanga border post.   After lunch, drive in a 4x4 vehicle drive to Lake Manyara.
All meals - overnight at    Manyara Serena Lodge or similar

Day 2
After an early breakfast visit Lake Manyara National Park. Continue to the Serengeti. This 14,700 sq km National Park has been made famous in the book  Serengeti Shall Not Die.   Picnic lunch and animal spotting en-route.
All meals - overnight at    Serengeti Serena, Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 3
The morning and afternoon are spent animal viewing in the Serengeti. With its limitless plains, scattered with rocks, acacia bushes, forest and occasional small rivers, the Serengeti is a paradise for wild animals and birds of all kinds.
All meals - overnight at    Serengeti Serena, Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 4
After breakfast leave for  Ngorongoro Crater. Stopover and visit the world-famous Olduvai Gorge.  Picnic lunch.
All meals - overnight at    Ngorongoro Serena, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 5
Descend 600 m to the floor of the crater. Spend the day animal viewing, with good chances to see the “Big Five”.   Picnic Lunch. In the afternoon return to the lodge.
All meals - overnight at   Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 6
This morning return to Arusha.   After lunch return with a regular shuttle bus to Nairobi, arriving early evening.
